OK, I really like Panera, but it is one of the most frustrating restaurants I've every frequented. Why? Because this is the 4th or 5th time they've taken my favorite item off the menu. Most recent the Chicken Pomadoro sandwich disappeared. But then I discovered the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad. Delicious. But when I stopped today to pick one up on the way home from church...POOF! It's gone just like all my favorites before it. Irritating. So today I'm making friends with the Strawberry Poppyseed Salad, but I'm keeping my emotions at arms length. I'm not getting close to anything at Panera ever again.
Ohh how I can relate! The removed the Tomato soup which (in my opinion) was the best ever. ALTHO! At the Panera by my house it is back, apparently too many people complained.

Wait....weren't you supposed to be trying a bit of cooking at home?! This would save the emotional factor of being disappointed at losing your faves!!! OR you could learn how to make the ones you lost from Panera!! :) tee hee....I was "adopted" into your family...you have to love me! :)

Silly Heidi. If you're going to be part of the family you'll need to learn based on past history that the cooking at home thing is never really going to happen. Good news is the new "Strawberry Poppyseed" Panera salad is a suitable replacement.

You gave the "cook at home thing" a valiant effort... I'll give you that! Hmmmmm, poppyseed dressing is addicting, huh? Could it be opium? :O
